Give a Cow to a Blind Person in Vietnam - #1
The poverty rate is high in the Tay Ninh province in Vietnam, especially among households with a blind family member. Unable to contribute to the family’s income, they become a financial burden. Just $300 enables one blind person to receive a female cow through a revolving cow bank. A cow provides milk to drink, fertilizer for the field, and help in agricultural activities. The blind person also receives training in livestock husbandry and will repay the cow bank with a female cow. For an individual locked in poverty, the gift of a cow brings renewed hope and relief!
