In Gambia, many women attempt to plant small gardens behind their homes; however, lack of water keeps yields low. With no source of income, women cannot feed their families, purchase medicines and clothing, or send their children to school. With your help, ADRA will provide training in agriculture production, as well as information about marketing, nutrition, and the dangers of FGM. Necessary seeds and tools will be provided. In addition, we will dig two wells in two communities. You can help women provide for themselves and their families.
