Help Stop Child Labor in Africa - #33
More than 500,000 children under the age of 5 are involved in child labor. And 218 million children between the ages of 6 and 17 work six days a week. Many of these children live in Africa. Children most often work as domestics, farmhands, or miners, earning about $1 a month. They work under hazardous and illegal conditions and do not attend school. Most adults find the idea of child labor normal. ADRA will educate families and communities to halt child labor.
