As Puntland, Somalia, tries to rebuild its society and security, the majority of its population is made up of unemployed youth. There is growing frustration among the most vulnerable youth. ADRA seeks to address their idleness and unemployment by providing computer skills training. As telecommunication and the Internet are increasing in Somalia, computer skills are necessary for youth seeking employment. With your help, ADRA’s computer course will include the essential skills of decision-making, conflict resolution and management, teamwork, and the ability to work in diverse environments. Not only will this project provide youth with hope, but also it has the potential to have a positive impact on Somali society.
