In Bangladesh, more than 75 percent of the children aged 4 to 14 who live in slums are forced into child labor due to extreme poverty. They perform dangerous labor, working in the fish processing industries, collecting waste from streets, breaking stones for gravel, and being forced into the sex trade. The number of street children is increasing in the Khulna district. ADRA will identify these children and bring them to our Child Development Center. You have the opportunity to not only save a child from exploitation, but also give them an education, a nutritious hot meal, and preventative and emergency health care.
